We had a good family time this afternoon after I got home from work. My husband feed the baby while I got ready to go on a walk. Then we went on a really long walk. We walked down to the clubhouse where there are swings and a playground. I think it is about 1/2 a mile away or a little more (and 2 big hills away!). We swung in the swings and Riley just laughed and laughed. We also slid down the slide together. He liked that. He also laughed when we walked on the swinging bridge. It was a very nice time together. We were gone about an hour and a half. I love it when I have good Mommy time like this.

- As you probably already guessed, I am a lawyer and a mom. My adorable baby boy is named Riley, and if you stick with me, you will be hearing lots about him. I imagine you will probably hear a thing or two about his dad/my husband Tony; he really is a great husband so don't get too upset with him if most of what I write about him is venting :). You'll also be hearing about our newest addition to the family - Riley's baby sister Paleigh - born in October 2009.

Wow! I'm impressed that you guys made the walk, up and down the two big hills, all the way to the playground! I'm glad you took the time to spend the evening with your family like this. I always spent way too much time doing household chores and not enough time having fun with my family.
I am a bit jealous that I didnt' get to enjoy the fun times at the playground, and see Riley swinging and sliding for the first time!
